Discover the magic of drawing your life in this live illustrated journaling session with Skillshare Top Teacher Mimi Chao!

Skillshare Premium Members are invited to join us on Friday, May 15th at 3pm EDT for a live online Zoom session with Mimi Chao all about drawing and sketching in your journal to reflect on your experiences in a whole new way. The session will run for approximately 45 minutes. Click the “Remind Me” button above to register!

Mimi Chao designs characters, makes picture books, and helps create story-based products. Her Los Angeles-based story & illustration studio, Mimochai, combines a modern approach with the playful style of classics like The Little Prince, Moomins, and Calvin & Hobbes. In addition to her creative work, an important aspect of Mimi’s story was her switch from corporate law to the creative world. Finding a meaningful purpose for your life's work is a topic she cares a lot about. She’s passed along that passion and creative approach to over 34,000 students on Skillshare, through her classes on digital painting, illustrated journaling, and murals.

Throughout the session, you’ll be encouraged to work alongside Mimi to draw your life, so bring your favorite journaling and sketching tools — pen and paper, or a tablet. Feel free to add questions in advance of the event (discussion forum below) or bring them live to the Zoom session. We look forward to seeing you soon!
