Welcome the Fall season in this live drawing class (and Tombow art supply giveaway!) with Top Teacher Dylan Mierzwinski! As a bonus, by joining this live session, you’ll be helping ensure every kid in the US has access to healthy food—more details below.

Skillshare Premium Members are invited to join us on Tuesday, October 13th, at 3PM ET for a special live online Zoom session with Dylan Mierzwinski all about drawing autumnal pumpkins and gourds using markers. The session will run for approximately 60 minutes. Click the “Remind Me” button above to register!

Not only are you invited to create and connect with us, you’ll also be giving back to a worthy cause. We’re proud to share that for every one who joins a live session during the month of October, Skillshare will be donating $10 to No Kid Hungry, up to a max donation of $10,000. This organization is working to ensure that every child in the United States has access to healthy food, and just $10 can help them connect a child in need with a whopping 100 meals, so make sure to join us live so you can make a serious difference in a kid’s life.

Dylan is an illustrator, pattern designer, and sewing enthusiast based in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. She’s known for her bold and retro illustrations. With an everlasting love of learning and trying things with her own hands, Dylan has found joy in sharing what she’s learned along the way in her eight years as a professional graphic designer turned illustrator and Top Teacher on Skillshare, where she’s taught more than 81,000 students.

Throughout the session, you’ll be encouraged to work alongside Dylan and ask questions. Feel free to add questions in advance of the event (discussion forum below) or bring them live to the Zoom session. To draw with Dylan live, we recommend bringing the following materials:

  • Tombow markers: 990, 910, 942, 933, 985, 026, 977, 158, 905, 679, 055, 192, and 177 and/or markers of your choosing
  • Drawing paper (Dylan will be using Strathmore sketch paper - 50 lb. You may want heavier paper if you prefer it, or if you plan to use water to blend the colors.)
  • Pencil and eraser
  • Reference photos
  • Optional: paint brush and water (if you want to blend the marker ink, though that won’t be demonstrated in this Live)

Plus, after the Live class, we invite you to share your project in the discussion forum below for a chance to win a prize pack of Tombow art supplies! A special thank you to our friends at Tombow (the art supply tool of choice for so many of our students & teachers, including Dylan) for providing the amazing prize packs for this Live Session. Terms & Conditions for this giveaway can be found here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
