Traditional French Apple pie

Traditional French Apple pie - student project

Slowly but surely!

I didn't even expect to finish this project but I did!

My newborn left me enough time to do it, so I am proud and happy!

Being French, I decided to illustrate the seasonal Apple Pie we traditionally bake in France.

I created a moodborad from Pinterest:

Then I started illustrating directly in PS with the help of a Wacom tablet (I like working digitally from the beginning especially when I don't have a lot of time).

But then I mostly worked on a final piece, playing with textures and brushes (I wanted to try the oil paint brush set I bought from Kyle Webster for this recipe)

I uploaded my recipe to my TDAC account (where you can see my 3 other illustrated recipes: you can appreciated the evolution over time, because the first one is more than 2 years old I think!). I'll share the link when I get it.

Here you got a square image for your IG! Many thanks for sharing our work and making it more visible!

Hope you will like it!

Thank you again for this awesome class and for helping me publish a new recipe. It's been ages!
