Creative Idea –

The main character, Summer, lost her mother four months ago, she was staying with her aunt until she finished her junior year. Now, she has to live with her father; who Summer hasn't lived with since she was seven. She's not over the lost of her mother but she knew is was coming, her mother was sick for awhile before the doctor announced that she has a rare disease that would slowly kill her. Moving in with her father and his family wasn't how she wanted her last summer before senior year to go. Her mother and her had planed a list of things the were going to do this summer. She carries that list with her, as piece of her mother.
