Illustrating with Layered Texture and Color

Illustrating with Layered Texture and Color - student project

These are the lessons' works and more.

I didn't think I can do it at first as I never be able to draw. I'm actually so bad at drawing. When the teacher said not to "trace" or "copy" the image, but instead use it as inpiration, I didn't think it'll work for me. But I'm glad I decided to give it a try. They're still bad drawings but at least I have passed my fear-point and started one drawing of my own. Thank you very much.

1st Try. A really bad drawing. :-)

2nd lesson's work. A bit better (because there's less drawing/sketching)

3rd lesson on architecture illustration. The most fun. I didn't draw much, mostly used shapes and lines. The most fun part was applying texture.

Then, the fun began. I went crazy making them into a series. This original was day time. This is at dusk.

Then, moving to around 8:30PM, when family are gathering...

Then, around 1:30am... We are all owls.. :-)

Finally we go to sleep... say, 3:00am.

Imagine what it would feel/look like at dawn... of course we've never seen it.

And the morning comes.. around 6:30am.

I actually had so much fun. I ran out of layers so many times.
