Here are my four patterns. I would scale these differently for presentation but trying to show the repeat best for this class. Had alot of fun, made alot of elements and that was really helpful!

Here are my vectorized watercolors. I haven't reduced all the colors or put them into the color scheme yet. I'm hoping to use some of these in simple patterns too.

Here are some of the watercolors I did. Time to vectorize!

Here are my drawings from tracing in AI. Plus a couple simpler image trace objects.

I decided to try gouache using this method. I used all the same flower with different colors. Next time I can get more complex! I used more swatches for the greens to get it to pick up the colors. Fun to try a different medium!

I was looking at Margaret's website as suggested by Bonnie. Also this book I have which shows more for opaque media but very inspirational.

I made my watercolors from different colors than what I used, which is very freeing! Bonnie's instruction is fantastic. Very clear and easy to understand. I am already familiar with Illustrator from graphic design use, but there were many great tips and shortcuts!

I'm not sure my second color version is very successful but had fun making it. I didn't take as much time with it. I see I missed a couple things! One thing I learned is to have all parts that will be colored in the same color group be vectorized at ALL the same number of colors. For instance, a few flowers I had at 4 colors, so they don't look as good as the ones with more variation.

VERY FUN CLASS! THank you Bonnie for sharing all your knowledge! I'm looking forward to trying many more patterns and trying this method with acrylic paint too.
