This painting above has to be one of my all time favorite paintings I have ever done. I have never appreciated abstract art until I started in watercolor. I love the contrast. I also love the dandelion heads and the techniques in this painting was so fun. I have a soft spot in my heart for them as my little girls bring them to me in the summer time and we make wishes before we blow them away.  Thank you for the wonderful lesson. 

I also really enjoyed playing with the oil pastels which I had never played with before. I went and bought myself some professional grade ones to learn more with. I'm excited to paint and explore that medium more.
