Color Fun Times

Color Fun Times - student project

Unfortunately, I do not own any magenta paint. So this entire project is going to have to settle for a little bit of muckyness. I'll have to drop by the art store to pick up some Magenta.

I was FINALLY able to go out and pick up some magenta paint! ^w^ I definitely think this color wheel worked out better than my first. I have more vibrant purples. ^w^

Here is my Red-Yellow-Blue color wheel. The purples came out kind of mucky, but the oranges and greens came out nicely.

And here are some more exercises I did with the new magenta mixtures. Still waiting for some of these to dry. :3

And here are some mixtures I did. A lot of these ended up looking the same. I'll probably do some more once I have some magenta.

Here are the color mixtures I did. The wet:

And the dry: (I accidentally smudged the purple one while reaching over to grab something. :P)

When I need inspiration for color schemes for my artwork, I like to use this site:

The palettes they have there are absolutely GORGEOUS! And you can even search by color if you're looking for a specific one. :3

Here are a couple of palettes I used for this project. I need to work on mixing and doing wet on wet. I never use enough paint. :-\
