Not closing any deals when people message you on Fiverr?

Lots of messages but no sales?

Here's 3 simple mistakes you should AVOID! (Number 2 is a conversion KILLER)

1. Being a "jack of all trades"

When I'm hiring I'm looking for a specialist. In fact - by specialising in one particular niche you can charge MORE because there is less competition, plus they can't compare you to other sellers.

In line with this - if the client asks what you can do and you list off everything "I can make videos, scripts, design ads, facebook ads, SEO etc.." you are just going to look desperate and they won't believe you can do any of those things well.

But if your gig says "I'll make you a scroll stopping youtube channel banner" and then your portfolio backs it up - your conversions will skyrocket.

Remember - you can make multiple fiverr gigs.

2. Basing Packages on Quality

This one is a SHOCKER!

NEVER offer packages based on quality like

Basic: Good Quality

Standard: Better Quality

Premium: BEST Quality

SMH

Why would anybody want anything but the best quality?

Why would you even want to sell anything less than your best quality!?

Your packages should offer a bit more, for a bit less.

But don't complicate it!

Try something like this:

Basic: 1 x Short Video Ad $100

Standard: 3 x Short Video Ads $250

Premium: 5 x Short Video Ads $375

This way the client knows they are getting the best quality, and it's not complicated on which package to choose.

3. Overcomplicating the sale

When somebody messages you, don't just say YES SIR ANYTHING SIR immediately, but don't overcomplicate it either.

1. Thank them and acknowledge their request

2. Confirm you understand the project and double check the details

3. Offer them the sale.
