Applying for college is a stressful and confusing time. There are so many choices and this is a big decision. If you and your child have a specific university you’ve been dreaming about, how do you best increase the chances of getting accepted?

You can get a leg up on the process by hiring someone who’s been there, a partner to help you and your child during the process, someone who understands the evaluation criteria along with the type of university or college that makes the most sense for your student’s personality and desired goals.

I offer different levels of support based on where you or your child is at in the application process.

College Guidance – What school is best? I can help you and your child find the best universities that fit their unique needs and desires, and advise both of you on their safety and educational standards along with matching schools based on their grades and test scores. I can guide you and your child to choose universities that are right for you both.
SAT Support – Get the best score possible! I personalize my teaching to your child’s strengthens and weaknesses by assessing your child's current knowledge on the SAT during our first session. I’ll follow up after this assessment with a learning plan to help your child improve on all sections of the exam.
Essay Brainstorming – Not sure where to start? I can assist your student with brainstorming essay topics, advising them on which topics highlight their best personality traits and helping to outline the structure of their essays.
Essay Revision – Already have something written? I will go through your child’s essay line by line and make suggestions on how to make it highlight their positive qualities to their admissions officer. I also will correct grammar mistakes and help to create interest through my successful writing techniques.
Letter of Recommendation Revision – What should they brag about? Some teachers will ask students to write their own letters of recommendation. I provide support in drafting and editing these letters for clarity and balance along with grammar errors to make sure admissions officers are blown away.
