in this short course, we'll model a parametric wall in rhino and also create construction documents from it. the main focus is on Automation and speed. the main features of the course include:
1-Learning in a Practical context
2- Automating repetitive tasks using native rhino commands- No grasshopper needed!
3- Exploring alternative methods to perform each step
for this course, you'll need a basic understanding of Rhino' user interface and simple commands.

I'm an architect with 12 years of experience in the field. over the years, I've worked in different firms focused on BIM, interior design, construction, detailing etc. and had the chance to gain practical knowledge in several design softwares.
i also love teaching, and have taught softwares for 10 years, and design courses for 2 years. currently I'm studying for PhD, focusing on integrating theory and practice, and holistic approaches to design.

the decorative wall that was used in the videos was just one application of the process. there are many decorative designs that are made with parallel sections. the park bench below is a good example:
try modeling this bench and see if any new challenges arise. of course, a difficult part is thinking about the connections between the pieces.
a similar challenge arises if we change our decorative wall a little. instead of being glued or bolted to the wall behind it, suppose it's a standalone wall in a public space. now we need to fix it on the ground and also connect the pieces so that they remain fixed at the top as well. we can make holes in the pieces and pass rods through them. here is how it would look:
if we use the contour command, now each section has more than one curve, which can be problematic further down the road when we use distribute or boxedit. test this and see the exact problem that occurs. hint: you don't have to add the holes in the model. you can add them after all the other steps. you just have to make sure they are placed in the exact same location in each section.
