Yifat Fishman is a North Texas-based artist with a diverse portfolio, including large scale murals displayed in Walmart stores. She specializes in portraits and vibrant compositions with a focus on storytelling. She loves creating eye catching images that bring joy to people, combining a vivid, playful style infused with dynamic movement.
With a background in industrial design and fine arts, and years of teaching both online and in person, Yifat loves introducing students to the creative flexibility of illustrating with the digital toolset.
When not drawing she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing the electric guitar and working out.

For your class project, paint wildflowers in digital watercolors.
In this hands-on class, you’ll create a beautiful digital watercolor painting of wildflowers. We’ll illustrate buds, leaves, and a variety of expressive flowers, following a step-by-step process and using the techniques covered in class.
Once you’ve completed your floral illustration, share it in the class gallery! I love seeing your creative ideas and always leave encouraging feedback.
Want to take it a step further? Have fun styling your artwork into a poster! Experiment with colors and add texture overlay to make it extra special.
Steps to Success:
- Start with a loose sketch to plan your composition.
- Explore different brushes to bring each floral element to life.
- Adjust your pencil pressure to create expressive brush strokes.
- Try different color combinations! I’ve shared my class palette, but feel free to use your own.
