My name is Priya Hazari and I'm a watercolor artist and owner of Petals by Priya Watercolor Designs. I specialize in painting loose watercolor florals and botanicals and am deeply inspired by the vibrant colors and beautiful nature surrounding me in Honolulu, Hawaii!
My journey with watercolors started as a hobby in 2018 and is now my full-time career. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching in-depth painting and creative business classes to 5,000 students online and in person. I've also been able to see my designs come to life on products through licensing projects, and have transformed my artwork into prints and stationery items that are sold in retail stores around the United States. It's been a dream come true!

Now it’s your turn to take everything you’ve learned and create your own scroll-stopping Instagram Reel!
Your class project is to film and edit at least one short-form video using the tips and techniques from this class. Whether you focus on a work-in-progress moment, a satisfying reveal, or a behind-the-scenes peek into your studio, this is your chance to experiment with your new and improved content creation skills.
You’re welcome to use real-time clips, trending sounds, or your own voiceover—whatever feels most natural and fun for your workflow! The goal is to make a reel that feels authentic to you, while applying some of the filming and editing strategies we covered together.
Once your reel is ready, share the link to your post in the “Projects & Resources” section below so I (and your fellow students!) can see what you create. This is also a great way to support and inspire each other.
