Hello Everyone!
I'm Anagha Sivadas P, a mixed media artist from Coimbatore, India. I began my art journey after graduating from IISER TVM, starting out casually but soon realizing my deep passion for it. What began as a hobby has now transformed into my full-time thing.
I'm a self-taught artist. Back in 2022, I wondered how effortlessly some artists sketched portraits. When I tried, it felt impossible at first--but I took it as a personal challenge to master it within a year. Through consistent practice and determination, I achieved what I once thought was unattainable. Today, I focus more on creating portraits using different mediums like pencil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, and oil--though gouache and acrylic are my go-to favorites.

Class Project Overview:
In this class, your project is to sketch three portraits, each using a different method: Grid, Loomis, Freehand. These will help you apply what you have learnt, building your skills step by step, and finally creating three beautiful portraits.
Project Steps:
- Watch the lessons and follow along with the demonstration for each method.
- Sketch three portraits as explained under the lessons Project 1, 2 and 3.
- Find the attached link for the project references.
- Don't worry about perfection, focus on practicing the techniques you learn!
- Feel free to use your own references, let your creativity flow!
How to Upload Your Project:
- Click on the "Create Project" button under the Projects & Resources tab.
- Upload clear photos of your three sketches.
- Add a short description. It can be your experience with the class, challenges you faced, or what you enjoyed the most, it helps your project stand out!
- You can also upload work-in-progress images too. It will be truly inspiring to see the learning journey.
Additionally, feel free to engage with other students by liking and commenting on their projects. Don't be shy, the skillshare community is very supportive and loves seeing progress!
