You will need:
PAPER:
Hp colourchoice paper (for the workbook printing) - you can also try the 90gsm version if your printer doesn't take thick paper.
I also love these dotted pads (perfect for keeping your practice together and having guides when lettering).
INK:
Sumi ink

Class Project: Create a Hand-Lettered Birthday Card and Gift Tags
In this class, you’ll design and hand-letter your own Happy Birthday greeting card along with a set of matching gift tags, using the calligraphy skills you have learnt.
Steps to complete your project:

Follow the class lessons to practise basic strokes and letterforms.

Sketch a simple greeting card layout featuring a ‘Happy Birthday’ message in your own style.

Create a set of two or three gift tags, experimenting with short words. Add colour, embellishments, or final touches if you wish.

Upload a photo of your finished greeting card and gift tags to the Project Gallery.
What to share:
Post a photo of your completed birthday card and gift tags. Feel free to show any sketches or drafts too - it's always lovely to see the creative process!
