Create and Manage container application with AWS ECS, EKS and Fargate

Project Description

Assignment:

Your class project is to create and manage container application using AWS Elastic Container Service, AWS Elastic Kubernetes service and AWS Fargate.

Tools and libraries Required:

AWS
Python (2.7 or later)
AWS ECS
AWS Fargate
Amazon EKS
AWS ECR
Flask

Getting Started:

First go to AWS console and navigate to Identity Access Management (IAM) and create a new IAM user and add permissions to access and manage AWS services using AWS CLI (Command Line Interface).

You may follow the steps mentioned below for creating the class project-

Write code for web application using Flask
Create custom docker file and build docker image
Publish docker image into ECR
Create public and private AWS Elastic Container Registry
Create AWS Fargate, EKS with EC2 and EKS cluster
Create and manage tasks and services inside AWS Fargate, ECS and EKS cluster
Define YAML file to create Kubernetes objects like pods, replica, services and deployment
