We have two main activities for the Class Project:

The purpose of doing the exercises and putting together an Awareness Board together is to practice your self-awareness skills, as these support your ability to lead and communicate well.

First we will work through a series of questions to help us develop the content for our Awareness Board. (You will find access links to this document below). We will be focusing on 5 key areas, which we will cover in separate lessons.

Then we will compile our Awareness Board and post an image of it in the Project section on Skillshare. You can create a new project by going to the very bottom of the Your Project section and clicking on the button Create Project. This is where you go to edit and update too.

You can upload a Project Cover page to Skillshare and share some information or thoughts about your board on your project page.

The final practice steps will be to reference your Awareness Board daily. Make it a regular habit to look at it and review it. You might want to change it in future based on future goals and challenges. You can also report back on progress by updating Your Project at any time.

You have a few options on how to save and use these documents:

once you've clicked on the link, select File (in the upper left hand corner) → Make a Copy → Save to your drive to create your own editable version of this Google Doc (note: you’ll need a Gmail account).

If you don’t have a Google Account, you can still download the templates as word documents or PDF. To do so, open a doc by clicking the link above, select File (in the upper left corner) → Download as → Microsoft Word docx or PDF).

Your Project Cover Page:

There are several ways to create your project cover page. You can take a photo of your physical Awareness Board and upload it to Your Project.

Or you can create a digital Awareness Board for free on Canva.com or as a slide in Powerpoint (or similar software) and then convert it to JPeg or PNG to upload a copy of it here. (If doing it digitally, the dimensions should be landscape, 16:9 or 1280x720 for best viewing on Skillshare.
