I just wanted to let you know that I added two extra classes to the Reason Music production Course:

Section 5: Reason tips and Tricks:

This class presents 3 subjects that I believe important for any music producers using Propellerhead’s Reason:

First, optimizing the workflow is key. And the best way to start doing that is to be able to call functions or views without having to search for a button or getting lost in a scrolling menu…

Second, I introduce Rack Extensions: What are they? Where to grab some (free and paid)? How to install them in Reason and how to let your creativity explode using them...

Third, VSTs (for advanced users).
Since Reason 9.5, it is possible to use VSTs in Reason. Reason now can stand side by side with Cubase, Logic and Protools in the professional production realm! To illustrate this, we will set up together a multioutput drum VST playing in Kontakt so that all virtual microphones used to record the drums are assigned to separate channels of the Reason mixer.

Section 4: Installing & Setting Up Propellerhead Reason
This is really for beginners as it deals with installing and setting pp reason for some trouble free music production Fun

When you create music, nothing is more important than an un-interrupted inspiration flow...you do not want to be fiddling with the settings while creating your masterpiece! This is why it is important to get Reason set up so that your music production workflow remains trouble free.

This small class of 4 videos may not be the most interesting... Who likes installing and setting up software, but it is a necessary investment so that you can create music in robust a stable environment.

This class deals with the installation of Reason 9.1. Additionally, the Propellerhead website that we will visit may have aesthetically changed since. Yet, it is not an issue: the installation process and the settings presented in this class remain the same for Reason 9.5 and 10.
