Another thing I can suggest is to pose yourself in a pose that you are trying to draw to better understand foreshortening and then if you can, ask someone else to take that pose, it doesn't have to be nude, just to get a better look and understanding of that two dimensional image.

funny, I had tried to take the pose mainely with the arms while I was drawing the first pose.  :)

Yes, you got the drawing of still stick figures. It's a good first step but figure drawing takes time to get good at. I see you are giving your best to understand the motion and that is great. :) I can suggest to try working on bigger drawing and making much looser strokes. Also imagine arms and legs as cylinders&gt; That might help.

I think I managed to draw steady stick figures, but man, when a try to transform them in something similar to human shape... x) a lot of work needed.
