Dear T3,

        I’m applying for the art director position at T3’s Austin, TX branch. I have a wide-range of experience that can be applied to this position.

            During my time at JuiceLand (JL) I developed content for various social platforms. I designed and populated websites with a variety of content for multiple wings of the JL brand. I have art directed and written copy for print ads in Edible Austin and nationally syndicated publications, such as Wax Poetics; additionally, I have developed digital and social media campaigns that were proven to be effective. I’ve built online followings from scratch for JL’s music wing and Exploded Records. Through those experiences, I have developed a solid understanding of when, where and how a piece of media should be used.

            Since my time at The University of Texas through to my current position, I have worked on projects with a variety of titles. The positions ranged from editor at JOINTHESTUDIO to graphic designer on school projects to creative problem solver at JL and were done so with or without teams. I look forward to taking on tasks that I am unfamiliar with, as they are opportunities to add to my creative toolbox. When called upon, I have led on projects and contributed copy or art direction ideas in a collaborative team environment. I’m experienced in managing projects of all kinds and am no stranger to taking on a task from beginning to end.
