St. Mary's Street

St. Mary's Street - student project

On the first I used a Sailor Fude 40 degree with Kaweco Pearl Black water soluble ink and Pentel Aquash Water Brush. It's crazy the effects you can get with such simple tools. Love it!

About a week later I tried these techniques again and sketched the top of a hill we walked on the Camino Frances last fall.

And here's a seashell I brought back from Fort Myers two years ago. On the shell I used a Sailor Fude with Platinum Carbon Permanent Ink and then I enhanced some lines with the water soluble ink to then apply some wash.

I'm excited to keep exploring these tools and techniques!
