I started this course to learn and refresh drawing in perspective. I haven’t practiced sketching by hand in a while and this course really helped me getting into it again. 

First Practices:

Perspective Drawing Practice - image 2 - student projectI really noticed here that I needed to practice drawing circles, ellipses and spheres for a while, before I was comfortable and confident using it in the next steps.

 

Cylinders and cubes:

Perspective Drawing Practice - image 5 - student projectDrawing the cylinders was really fun for me, but I got bored after a while and just started drawing random things around me, or things I just made up. Looking back now I see that I completely messed up the handle of the cup.

With the boxes I noticed that I also need to practice drawing straight lines again.

Perspective Drawing Practice - image 10 - student projectI got a bit confused with the perspective sometimes, but great brain exercise too. I also didn’t have enough different cups, so I just started making them up.

Nice final task. I definitely need to practice this more, especially getting all the proportions right.
