Hi Debbie, After uploading the project we went on holiday, so a bit late of a response. We did make some more during the vacation and we gave them away to the friends my daughter made at the camping. The idea to give them away was from my daughter, and I did the most part of the actual production :) What was a great activity sitting in the sun watching the kids having fun.

The colors had a hidden meaning, that at that time could not be shared yet.
Pink/Blue is for boy or girl (we don't know yet), and the yellow is for energy/happiness. 

That's wonderful! Congratulations! In the US, we use often use yellow for when we don't know if it's a boy or girl, so all three colors are good for baby! :-)

Hi Sebastiaan and Paula! Congratulations, Sebastiaan! Your vacation also sounds like it was a lot of fun, and it's great that you made more friendship bracelets while sitting in the sun! Your daughter seems to have been in tune with the original traditional purpose of friendship bracelets, which is making them to give to friends! I love the no-longer-hidden meanings of the color scheme you chose, and the idea of adding yellow for energy/happiness! Paula, I also love your comment as well that yellow is often used in the U.S. when we don't know if it's a boy or a girl! Perfect all around! :-)

Thanks, yes I do a lot of crafting thinks together with my daughter, and we have a lot of fun. 

I made this together with my 5 year old daughter, we used thicker wool so that it was easier to hold and knot the single strands, and easier to hold them apart.
It was super easy to follow.
She wants to make another one with me :)
