Your course was great and your presentation really entertaining!

I work as a graphic designer but want to be a full time illustrator so now I'm developing my style and trying out new things (like editorial illu) to get a killer portfolio ;)

I started sketching ideas before seeing yours so there are a few similarities (I guess it comes from the nature of the article as well) but I'll upload them anyway. I chose the flower power stuff of course :)

UPDATE

Well, it was hard to choose for me as well because I liked the Lab version almost as much as this one... so maybe I will give it a go later.

I wanted to work in this style which is still a little bit sketchy but there are nice textures and I can work much faster than with for example brush pen which I often use (but really takes a lot of time).

Anyway... here's the outcome :)
