Hi Mariya, Thanks for adding your project and sorry that it's taken me so long to comment.  I've been having one of those times where everything technological breaks all at once and you wonder what we ever did before internet/ laptops/ smartphones as you just can't do anything without them these days!  Anyway, I'm back on track now, phew! I absolutely love all of your work!  I see what you mean about separating photography and illustration and agree with Sova below that the style of the two are quite contrasting.  Some of your illustrations go well with your photos, though, especially the ones where you have photographed your sketch book with flowers and leaves.  The illustration in the very top left also goes really well because of the darker colours and also means that there's a bit of breathing room with the white background so you don't get darkness overload!  This is very important. I think your account would look really stunning if you carried on mixing illustration and photography but continued in the darker style of the top 6 images.  It would mean that you'd need to think carefully about what to add and may not be able to post so often, but I think the end result would be amazing!  Then again, that means you may need to only do illustrations based on the colours of your IG and that's not ideal!  But you could start a brighter, fun illustration feed, and add your other work there.  I think it depends a lot on what you use your account for.  If you're not trying to get commissions from it then you can be a bit more relaxed about what you post, perhaps, but if you already have a website then maybe you don't need to showcase every new illustration you do on Instagram, in which case just having one darker account would be fine. I had the technological catastrophe day a few days ago =D It happens (though I really dont like it, when it does =D)
So I was thinking to make a separate account with illustrations mostly and make it in english too, and I love the idea of the work portfolio, I really need that. I think I will keep my account as it is, trying to make it fit together, but not trying too hard too, because it is still mostly personal one. Although I do see my followers confused from time to time, when I mix illustrations nd heavy edited photography =D oh well =)
Btw, I also watched your class on character building, it was awesome, really loved it =) May give a try to the project later on =)

I actually kind of like how you mix both together - but it's true that your illustrations are funny and playful while your photos are more serious and dreamy... I love your topics - flowers, nature, people - everything makes sense together.  Maybe you can change this account just a little and try mixing illustrations and some (but less than currently) photos together (based on colors/topics) and also start a separate account for your photos? But yeah, it would be soo time-consuming...

I , agree with you, that you should separate your ideas. I think you have two very clear ideas, that need to be separate. I feel the more illustrated images should have their on IG, and the same for your actual photos. They both equally deserve their own attention.

I didn't watch the whole class yet, but I to have problem that I place there more topic then just one. I mean I'm interested in lot off stuff, I even work or trying to work in different areas. I do see from your picture you are illustrator, a good one, but the photography is amazing too. Anyway I like how you present your stuff.

Thank you for your kind words, Lidija! =) I think for now my IG works, because I have the same theme in both pictures and illustrations - bright colours =D Maybe you can try to do the same? But yeah, I'm same here, there is a lot of stuff I learn, want to learn or do and I want to share it and the IG becomes something like a puzzle =D

As for now, here is a recent screenshot of my IG account. I typically am inconsistent, but since I treat this particular IG as a personal account, I post everything that is interesting to me =) I'm planning to make separate accounts for art and photography however, and thats where your class would be extremely helpful =)
