This was done in Procreate. I used watercolour brushes from Lisa Ganz's website called AqualReal. I also used techniques from the video below. One I particularly like is using the selection tool to highlight a irregular area within a block of colour, feathering it, and adjusting its hue/saturation/brightness to give a watercolour randomness to the paint.

Thanks for this great course, Emma! I learned so much! Your feedback is also very impactful. I've painted several mushroom pieces as a result, some not so good, but they taught me what I like. These are my favourites.
