I've used a baselayer of veeeeery cheap Reeves oilpastels (though I think they are more wax, then oilbased) followed bij the Caran d'Ache NeoPastel. I didn't use any solvents, because I don't have any... Just lots of layers and blending with a blending stump, tiny Q-tips (meant for nailpolishcorrection) and silicone spatula's. I used a black pen for the lashes (needed to wipe it off after every other lash), a red Prismacolor pencil for the veins in the eye and scratched the fine lines in the skin with a wooden skewer.

Fun lesson! Had to pause it often in order to stay on point, but was not a big deal.
