CLASS PROJECT: Start a portrait painting!

Choose a reference with awesome lighting (or use the one from class), set up your canvas, block in your big shapes of value, and do a proportional check. Focus on creating a strong foundation. (You don’t need to finish the painting!)

Share a screenshot of your work-in-progress in the Projects & Resources section of class.

NEXT STEPS: Grab the Portrait Art Starter Kit for Procreate! A great next step if you love painting portraits.
