Hello, I'm Mathew. I am professional musician in Calgary, Alberta. I serve as the Artistic Director and solo horn for Timepoint Ensemble and served as the fourth horn for the Saskatoon Symphony for the 2015-2016 season. Around town I perform as a freelance and have performed with groups such as the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Edmonton Symphony, Theatre Calgary, and many more.

Beyond performance I spend a great deal of time as an educator working with students from various backgrounds in the skills that make up music.

I completed my training at DePaul University in Chicago (Post Graduate Certificate in Performance, and a Masters of Music with Distinction) and did my undergraduate work at the University of Calgary (B.Mus).

My passion is new music, music that is reflective of our time and the society we exist in.
