This is a very short class by design. We’re experimenting with shorter formats for faster learning, so if you want to pick up a useful Canva skill without committing to a long course, you’re in the right place.

In this class, I’ll show you how to design beautiful, clickable emails in Canva, test them before sending, and download them as HTML so you can use them with your email platform.

If email design has ever felt a bit clunky, intimidating, or just plain annoying, this class will help you get past that. Canva now gives you a much easier way to create emails that actually look good, feel on brand, and work across desktop and mobile.

We’ll keep things simple and practical. You’ll learn how to start from a template, customize your layout, swap images, work with buttons, add animated elements, preview your email, send yourself a test version, and export the final HTML package.

This class is ideal for small business owners, creators, marketers, freelancers, and Canva users who want a quick and approachable way to create better looking emails. You do not need any coding skills, and you do not need to be a designer to follow along.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:

start a new email design in Canva
choose and customize an email template
edit banners, text, colors, and button styles
replace images with Canva photos or your own uploads
add animated elements to make your email more dynamic
use Magic Write to improve or rewrite email copy
organize content with page breaks
preview your design on desktop and mobile
send a test email to yourself
download your email as HTML and images

By the end of this class, you’ll have a finished Canva email design and a much better understanding of how this new feature works, so you can start creating emails that feel more polished, more branded, and a lot less stressful to build.
