Share your environmental portrait!

Wherever you're shooting, share your process and final photos! You can follow along on an iPhone or DSLR, adapting Aundre’s techniques to fit your own setup and style.

Wondering how to reach out to a local business or community member about a shoot?

If you live nearby, try visiting in person during a slow time of day and asking whether there are any opportunities to create for the business. If not, reach out over phone or email.
Share a few images that illustrate your vision for their brand, plus applicable examples of your past work, and notes on what you think they’re already doing well and can do better.

Above all, capturing great environmental portraits requires patience, communication, and curiosity. We’re so curious to see what you create!
