Begin a Collaboration!

ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment is to create an original piece by bringing together two different styles or mediums. For this class you can work with any medium - photography, illustration, typography, paint - if you can send it to another person, you can use it! As you get started, be sure to try a lot of different combinations before you decide on your final composition. Remember, you can do this project in any visual style!

Pick one of these four ways to approach this assignment:

If you’re an illustrator – add your own illustrations to a photograph (either by finding a new collaborator that is a photographer or using one of the images I’ve provided from Coty Tarr) or blend with another illustrators work - the choice is yours!

If you’re a photographer – use one of your photos and incorporate illustrations (either by finding a new collaborator that is an illustrator or using the assets I’ve provided myself) or create a new Photo Manipulation using either Coty's work or photos provided by a fellow student.

If you’re feeling adventurous – create both elements, using one of your photographs and making the illustrations

If you really want to roll the dice - put up a creation of your own, add a link the sourcefile and let your fellow classmates go wild!

DELIVERABLE

A final piece that incorporates both photography and illustration. A complete project includes:

3 to 4 screenshots of your piece in different stages of its evolution

Credit for the work you used in your piece
