Make Your Own Dream Vacation Candle

Scent is a powerful tool that can transport us to another place. Using your skills from this class, create a candle that reminds you of a place you’re dreaming of vacationing.

Pick the right scent. If you’re the wilderness type, maybe pick a scent that smells like pine trees. If you’re dreaming of a beach getaway, try an ocean air scent. The possibilities are endless!

Find the jar that’s right for you. You can recycle a previously used candle jar, or for bonus points search for one with a style that fits into your favorite vacation spot.

Burn your candle and test the scent! How did it go? Does the scent fill the room? What would you do differently? Take a picture of your candle and add it to your Class Project with a description of where you'd love to vacation, and how your candle captures the essense of that place.
