You are going to create your first textile teacups wall decor.

Supplies needed for this project:

Printer & paper for the patterns

* Go ahead and download the pattern I’m using here to complete your project. The pattern pdf is under "Your Project"

Sharp scissors
Linen /cotton/muslin sized 9x12"
9 x coordinating fabrics sized 5x5" approx.

* (It’s better to have more fabrics then less, so you have more to choose from. Saucers can be cut from the same fabrics as the cups or different. It’s up to you)

Sewing and or embroidery threads
Sewing pins/ stick glue
Sewing/ embroidery needles Thinner is better. from size 7 up to 10 would be great.
Pen/ Coloured pencil/ 4B pencil

Here is what you are going to do:

1. Create or print templates (see pdf provided)

2. Cut the templates

3. Choose your fabrics

4. Trace your templates on the fabrics

5. Cut the fabrics

6. Arrange your composition as you see fit

7. Sew the parts in

8. Add layers, stitches, and details (or leave it plain)

*The complexity of layers and added details or simplicity of this project is up to you. Do what you love.

9. Be happy and proud of your accomplishments and Share your project in the project gallery!
