Acerca de esta clase
Feel like your creative projects are always on the back burner? Struggling to stay focused or finish what you start?
This class is your step-by-step guide to getting more done — without burning out or losing your creative spark.
Designed for creatives, freelancers, side hustlers, and self-starters, this course will help you take control of your time and energy with realistic, flexible productivity tools that actually work.
You’ll learn how to:
-
Set clear, achievable goals (even when your ideas feel scattered)
-
Prioritise what matters most (and let go of perfectionism)
-
Beat procrastination and distractions in a creative-friendly way
-
Use time management methods like the Pomodoro Technique
-
Set up a productive workspace that keeps you inspired and focused
By the end of the class, you’ll have a customised productivity plan that fits your creative workflow — and the confidence to follow through on your ideas with clarity and intention.
Who This Class Is For:
-
Creatives, makers, and freelancers who feel overwhelmed by their to-do lists
-
Side hustlers juggling multiple responsibilities
-
Artists, designers, writers, content creators, and anyone with lots of ideas but not enough structure
-
Anyone looking to stay focused, motivated, and productive in a flexible, non-corporate way
Proyecto de clase práctica
Now that you’ve learned how to take control of your time, overcome distractions, and work in a way that supports your creativity — it’s time to put it into action.
Your class project is to create and share your own personalised productivity plan. It can be super simple — think of it as your creative workflow blueprint. You’ll combine the lessons and tools from the class to build a structure that works for you (not against you).
You can format your plan however you like — a written summary, a screenshot of your digital calendar, a photo of your workspace, or even a sketch or mind map.
What to Include in Your Project:
Here’s what you should create and share:
1. Your Weekly Goal(s)
-
Choose 1–2 realistic goals for the week
-
Example: “Design and schedule 3 Instagram posts” or “Write one blog draft”
2. Your Time Strategy
-
Choose and try one technique:
-
Pomodoro
-
Time Blocking
-
Task Batching
-
-
Briefly describe how you’re using it
3. Your Daily Routine or Flow
-
What does a productive day or week look like for you?
-
Example: Morning = Creative time / Afternoon = Admin / Evening = Rest
4. Workspace Snapshot
-
Share a photo of your physical or digital workspace
-
Show us how you’ve set it up to support your focus and flow
5. Optional Extras (Choose 1–2):
-
Your favourite tool or app from the course
-
A “Top 3 Priorities” list for one day
-
A note about what’s changed since applying the lessons
How to Share Your Project on Skillshare:
