This beginner-friendly course is designed to help you understand and confidently use the most popular mobile photo editing apps: Lightroom Mobile, Snapseed, VSCO, and the Photos app on iPhone. You’ll also learn how to make simple yet effective photo collages using the InShot app.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by all the tools and sliders in editing apps — or if you've just been relying on auto-edit and filters — this course will show you what each feature does and how to use it properly.
You’ll learn how to:

Make basic lighting and exposure adjustments

Correct highlights, shadows, contrast, and clarity

Crop and straighten your photos with precision

Use selective adjustments to brighten or fix specific areas

Apply subtle filters and control their intensity

For your class project, I’d love for you to edit 5 different photos using any of the apps we covered — Lightroom Mobile, Snapseed, VSCO, or Apple’s Photos app. Try to apply the tools and techniques you’ve learned in this course.
Here’s how to approach it:

Choose 5 unedited photos (travel, portraits, food, anything you like).

Edit each one using a different app or explore multiple apps together.

Focus on basic editing — lighting, contrast, crop, sharpness, color balance.

Try to keep the edits natural and intentional. Avoid heavy filters.

Share your before & afters if you can!
You can also create a bonus collage in the InShot app using 2 or more of your final edits and upload that as part of your project.
