Welcome to Lighting Basics for Content Creation!
This is a short no-nonsense class teaching you the basics of how to light your videos better.
All the top content creators know that lighting is key. In fact, certain platforms will favour well-lit videos over videos that are not lit as well. To have that not be you, this class walks through different levels of lighting, to give you a quick and simple way to light yourself in your own home.
Photos and videos are made up of light, and it can make or break your video. So this will walk you through the lighting process and eliminate the guesswork so you can focus on the actual content in your videos.

Hello, my name is Fynn Badgley. I am a Toronto-based Commercial Fashion & Portrait photographer, as well as a content creator. My work has a large emphasis on how light is used, as well as creating a feeling from the viewer. People have always been and continue to be a large inspiration in my work, and a driving force behind the images I create and stories I tell. Through working as a photographer in various genres over the years, working on high-budget Hollywood film sets, and creating short and long-form content for various platforms, I am excited to share what I have learned with you so that we can all become a stronger community of creators, together.

Your project is simple in nature, just upload one video using the lighting techniques discussed.
It doesn't matter if you have access to a nice window or a multi-light setup. Share your video and your thoughts.
Remember keeping it simple here will be your best friend. You don't have to craft a Hollywood lighting setup, keep it simple and let the content flow!
