Studio apartments can sometimes seem bland and repetitive with their layouts - so I designed a spacious studio in Manchester city centre that blended together the rich industrial history of the city with contemporary design.

The bed space is separated from the rest of the design by creating a raised platform with clever storage below and wooden louvres to provide a sense of privacy given the open plan nature of a studio. Study and dining space is located by the large windows looking out on to the Manchester skyline.
