I first explored the story of Coronis back in college, and it was what got me into inking in the first place.

It mixes elements from my last name, which essential means "Stone Crow Bird" in Lao - with some characters that I find myself repeating in my drawings. I've had it sitting in my head for quite some time, but have yet to commit to putting it down to paper.

When I saw this class, I figured that I'd use it as a catalyst to get started on it again.

Hey everyone! Another round of updates. This time around, I'm studying Yoji Shinkawa, the illustrator of the Metal Gear Solid series of games. I used a stick and an asian brush to create these studies. Trying to figure out how he thinks.
