Phase 7 - Lined Pattern

I wanted to use some patterns that I created whilst on a train journey. I added some water colour to some of the patterns and this has given it a lovely effect.

Phase 5 - Layering techniques

Really enjoyed the layering techniques, love the colours, the only problem I found was knowing when to stop. There are so many different patterns that can be created this way. Love it. Mastering 5 Pattern Techniques in 2 Weeks - image 3 - student project

Mastering 5 Pattern Techniques in 2 Weeks - image 4 - student project Played with some different colour combinations. I noticed with the first darker design I could see a gap or two, but as a delicate lighter colour scheme it works it think.

This took quite a while to do and was not that easy. Love the colour scheme but the actual pattern could do with a bit more work

Phase 2 - Scan and Vectorise

At this time of year why not create Christmassy sketches to see if I can come up with a pretty design. The following are my initial sketches, quite a few but managed to collate them all into one vector image.

I still need to perfect my drawing lines but am hoping I can learn how to tidy my designs up in future classes, so for now this is what I will be using.
