Refining Colour

I literally made about 40 versions of the red one (ahhh!!!!) but I think these are finally looking a bit better! They now work in greyscale. I'm still wondering if the blue one lacks in contrast, even though it's visible in greyscale?

Here is how they sit amongst the rest of the collection.

For the first colourway, I added two new colours to the palette. I changed the blue in the blue and yellow arrowy pattern to match the new blue in the red flower pattern to tie it all together a bit better.

Phase 4 - Bio and Photo

I found it so difficult to write a bio about myself! I will probably go back and update both in the future but here they are for now!

This is the same collection of patterns I posted last week but I've tweaked the scale a little bit. Bonnie, I'm not sure if it still lacks contrast in scale? Also, do I need more neutrals in my colour palette?

Phase 2

Collection Title: 'Mi Casa es Tu Casa'

Inspired by the warmth and hospitality I felt on a trip to Mexico. A phrase I heard over and over again was 'Mi casa es tu casa', which translates to 'My home is your home'. 'Mi Casa es Tu Casa' is about the connections I made with people, despite the language barrier and how people shared with me their homes, food, passion, love of colour and rich, vibrant culture.
