Circular knitting is to knit in rounds that is an important level each knitter has to dive in, because the most beautiful projects are made by circular knitting like

sweaters , etc.

Circular knitting is an important tool to upgrade your level in knitting. It comes after practices in the beginner level, that means you have to know ;

how to knit,
how to purl ,
cast on ,
bind off and be familiar to all of them.

This class will be one of many classes that introduce projects worked in round

In this class we will learn

Cast on with circular needle (long tail method)
Swatch in round
Small and lovely math to calculate the starting stitch number
2 types of circular work the first with short wire needle , the other is with long wire needle

You will be able to dive into a creative world that is full of socks with many techniques which is proof that your knitting level will be upgraded.
Also you can knit hats in several ways with a lot of techniques.

Why my circular knitting class particularly?

I am knitting since i was 9 years old now i am 40 years old

All my previous life was without circular knitting , but the last 3 years I was highly passionate about this topic and tried to self learn it, but still needed more so I decided to attend a lot of classes which were online and offline too to learn more and more to be satisfied to my level.

Now after knitting many project i feel like i was wrong not to try to learn circular knitting earlier than 3 years

On The Other Hand i am passionate in the teaching process so mix these two factors together you will have a logic equation that say ;

At the end of this class you will make a headband as the most simple project to start up with it can be done in only one day

1. Cast on by a circular needle with short wire.
2. Jumping to a circular needle with long wire to learn about the magic loop.
3. A very cute math calculation ( i know that math is not lovely to some people but with me it will be a piece of cake ,promise ) , this math to calculate the initial number of stitches that is wanted to cast on .
4. Completing the headband you may need some decreases, maybe not this is your choice but i will teach you the concept to decrease and of course the technique.

As a bonus I will teach you circular knitting with double pointed needles (DPN) , which are also easy and important in many projects like finishing the hat.

Do not forget that all the previous steps include many tips to level up your experience

Tools you need:

One circular needle 40 cm not less than 4 mm
One circular needle 80 cm or more not less than 4 mm
A ball of yarn as you want cotton mixed with bamboo , wool mixed with mohair or even acrylic that is your preference , pay attention to the size of the needle that have to match the yarn size
A pair of scissors , large eye sewing needle (darning needle) to weave in the yarn tail .

Pen and paper to do our lovely math ;)
