Throughout the class, we will work on creating three different styles plus two special miniature paper cakes, each with their own unique design and decoration. We will cover the process of creating the cake base, as well as adding realistic icing, decorations, and embellishments.

For our class project, you will create your own piece/s of miniature paper cake. Feel free to incorporate your own decorating ideas to fully show your creativity.

1. You may choose one or more styles of the your paper cakes from what were shown in this class.

2. Gather your materials. For the project, you will need the following:
- scrap papers like bond paper, board paper, specialty paper
- paper glue
- paint, paint brush and a small jar of water
- pencil and ruler
- pair of scissors
- a cutter and a cutting mat
- toothpick
- tweezers (optional)
Reminder: We will use a number of sharp items. Handle it with care and/or please ask assistance from anyone in your house especially if you are a kid.

For the bonus lesson, create cake boxes for your cakes.
- gather the same materials mentioned above
- double sided tape
- scrap plastic packaging of packed paper sheets

3. Re-create our main project, the heart cake then feel free to use any colors and decorating styles when doing your next mini paper cake projects.
