Phew! Just finished the Class and Project Description! I hope it'll spark some interest as I'm not the most skilled writer! The Cover is still a placeholder as I am still working on the illustration for the class and of course I'll want the one that I filmed in the cover! ;)

Class Description

In this class you will learn how to make your procreate illustrations look just like traditional watercolor!

We'll be looking at some watercolor pieces and learn what makes them so unique. You’ll get lots of tips on how to imitate this wonderful medium.

In the end you’ll be able to adapt the techniques provided and use what you need to enhance your own painting style!

This class is for Illustrators and hobby artists alike! As long as you have an IPad with procreate and an Apple Pencil on hand.

In this class you’ll learn:

What are the characteristics of watercolor?
How do you recreate them in procreate?
How do you make it look believable?
What brush settings are useful?
How do you apply textures?
How do you use layers to imitate watercolor layers?

You’ll create a whimsical mushroom person using the techniques and resources provided.

In the past three years I have been creating digital watercolor art throughout different softwares and explored many techniques along the way. My 6 years of experience with watercolors and materials helped me make it believable and also create a handful of resources for you to use! Now it is time I show you how to use them!

This class is packed with useful techniques. Equipped with my resources you’ll be able to jump into creating right away! Once you’re done you’ll have a whimsical piece of artwork to share and lots of knowledge to apply in future illustrations!

Project Description

For this Project you will need an Ipad and Apple Pencil with Procreate. I’ll provide you with a brush and textures to create your illustration.

Create a cute little mushroom person!

I have linked a pinterest board filled with a variety of pretty mushrooms to inspire shape, color and patterns of your little character. Of course you can draw them from imagination too!

If you don’t feel comfortable or don’t have the time to sketch your own character but still want to try some of the techniques, feel free to use my sketch to color in!
