Hello! My name is Mariel and here comes my project! (I'm sorry in advanced about my rough english, its an adquired language for me).

Phrase

The phrase I have chosen is from a writer called Jorge Santoyana, aparently a spanish guy that grew up in the states. I had some trouble finding an appropiate quote, and I went trough a lot before making a decision. I decided to choose one written in english so it would be easy for people to correct me.

"The earth has its music for those who will listen,

Its bright vibrations forever abound;

With the wonders that God bequeathed us,

There is nothing that thrills like the magic of sound."

Of couse I only selected the first part.

The idea is to make graphic the "music" of nature. I Got a nice pallette too when finding pretty images.
So I started sketching the words and practice a little bit:

Well, updating... I've been sketching, so here I post

First the thubnails... A little messy but you get the idea...!

I've been looking at new referents, and I like this celtic-like look, I thought it might go well with the composition, but again... I'm not sure.

Well, first of all I'd like to thank you all for your support, all your comments and likes. It's been a real pleasure being part of this class!
