Your project is to paint a realistic apple in watercolor.

DELIVERABLES

1. Upload photos of some of the steps as you work toward the finished apple.

2. Upload your finished watercolor apple.

Materials Needed for this Class

1. A 140 lb coldpress watercolor paper about 12 x 9 Inches (30 x 23 cm). Artist tape and board (optional)

2. Watercolor paints (tubes or pan set) about 12 basic colors*

3. Two containers of water

4. Small cloth towel and paper towels.

5. Round watercolor brushes: #0 (extra small -optional); #2 (small); #5 or #6 (medium); #10-12 (large)

6. Soft and hard pencils and eraser (kneaded rubber eraser, preferable)

7. Small water spray bottle

Following is a list of paint colors. You may use any watercolor brand of your preference.

Ideally, you'll use professional-grade watercolor paints and have one warm and one cool version of each color. For example: Sap green and Winsor Green.
