I had such fun making tissue paper flowers in lots of sizes and colors for the class. These are just some of them.

You can use the flowers for so many different things. Here I used three of them as embellishments for a little gift box that I made.

The box opens like this, and was made with the Candy Drawer die by Sizzix and Eileen Hull.

I also embellished a greeting card with three flowers. The orange one was made from white tissue paper and misted, the silver one was made from recycled tissue paper from a gift I received and the third one was made from printed tissue paper.

The flowers have great dimension to them, but add almost no weight to the card.

The flowers look great as home decor items too. Here I placed a whole bunch of them in a glass bowl. It would also have looked great if they were all white, or maybe in two different colors.

You can make the flowers more open, as the one with the button in the center above, or crumble the tissue paper up all the way to the center as in the case of the blue flower.

Leaves are also easy to make from tissue paper, as I show you in the class.

This duo-toned flower is a favourite of mine and I think I am going to glue a magnet to the back of it and put in on our fridge.

I also placed tissue paper flowers on top of a sewing box that I made for my son (it is full of letters so that he can practice his words).
