Tips to paint luminous florals:

Observe the flowers you are panting. Paint the highlights with the most diluted, watery paint mixture and shadows with thicker mixtures.
Notice how I used just one brush to paint the entire painting. Use the tip, belly and side of the brush. For more brush exercises, you can take my Skillshare class "Explore Your Brushes - Paint Five Kinds of Feathers with Just One Brush".
Now choose a picture of your favourite florals, pick a color palette and start painting the subject with that one brush! You'll be surprised at the amount of use you can get out of your brushes. This will help you make informed choices the next time you go shopping for brushes!
