After inking and scanning it in this is how it looks. I always have trouble when it live traces because it connects more than one letter together and sometimes it has tons of points and I have to go over them seperately with the pen tool...if anyone has tips with that let me know. :)

Hi everyone I'm Lala :)

I'm super excited to take this class. I'm a big fan of Mary Kate McDevitt so it's exciting to see her share her knowledge and to see how I can use it in my own way and create with the world. I enjoy making people smile so I decided to use the quote; "Choose to Shine" but I didn't like how short it was and wanted to add more to it so I added ;"Choose to shine, like the sun in the mornings and the stars in the night and never stop." I just wanted it to be something positive that people could use as motivation.

Everytime I keep tracing over it I keep changing my layout aha so we'll see what happens I like what is happening so I'll keep going until I am satisfied.

Ugh I think this is the last one. I have more to work with and kept it simple.

final sketch. I enjoy the rawness & imperfections of my design. I love it. I can't wait to ink it and color it.
