I've been extremely busy the past two months with a big illustration/animation job for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) here in Malawi. Before that, I had a similar giant project for UNICEF in Asia back in May.

While I have been way too busy to make new lessons or courses, I have found a few sneaky ways to work smarter, not harder and would like to share some tricks for those of you making illustrations or web animations/videos that can make your workflow smoother and more efficient.

So, when things calm down a bit for me, I aim to make new lessons for my illustration, digital painting, freelancing, and animation/ social media videos courses in the next few weeks.

Some things I'd like to share are:

How to make characters look like the same person from scene to scene even when they are changing position or are seen from different angles.
How to save time (for tight deadlines) by reusing/modifying existing backgrounds, body parts, and faces without becoming boring, sloppy, or lazy
Being more efficient by lining up your favorite custom paint brushes and digital tools so they are ready and waiting when you need them. No more hunting around.
Getting more out of your imaging and video/animation programs. Time=money.
Speeding up your workflow by making and using templates
